Welcome to Modern Gent Clothing – where fair returns meet unfair times. These terms are our rulebook for doing business right. By using our site, you’re agreeing to play by these rules. If you’re not cool with that, we respectfully suggest you shop elsewhere.

1. WHO WE ARE & WHAT WE DO

Modern Gent Clothing is a UK-based men’s fashion retailer specializing in rebellious, high-quality apparel and accessories. Our website (moderngentclothing.com) is your gateway to our curated collection of:

  • Clothing (jackets, jumpers, kilts, etc.)
  • Footwear (boots, lace-up shoes)
  • Accessories (belts, bags, jewellery)
  • Exclusive EMP brand collaborations

We ship worldwide (with some exceptions – see Section 4) to customers aged 18+.

2. YOUR OBLIGATIONS

When using our site, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information during checkout
  • Use payment methods you’re authorized to use
  • Not misuse our site for fraudulent purposes
  • Comply with all applicable laws
  • Accept that some items (ear jewellery, cosmetics) are non-returnable for hygiene reasons

What We Sell

We offer carefully selected menswear and accessories as displayed on our site. All items are subject to availability – if something sells out, we’ll let you know fast.

Product Descriptions

We describe our gear as accurately as possible, but:

  • Colors may vary slightly due to screen settings
  • All measurements are approximate
  • Some items may have minor variations (that’s what makes them unique)

Pricing

All prices are in GBP (£). We reserve the right to adjust prices if needed, but we’ll honor the price at the time of your order.

4. ORDERING & PAYMENT

How Orders Work

  1. Add items to your cart
  2. Proceed to checkout
  3. Enter shipping/billing details
  4. Select payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, PayPal)
  5. Receive order confirmation via email

Payment Terms

  • We process payments when you place your order
  • Declined payments = no order (we’ll notify you)
  • We don’t store your payment details – that’s between you and your bank

Shipping Policy

We move fast – orders process in 1-2 business days after payment clears. Then:

  • Standard Shipping (£12.95): DHL/FedEx – 10-15 business days
  • Free Shipping (orders over £50): EMS – 15-25 business days

Note: We don’t ship to parts of Asia and certain remote locations. Customs fees are your responsibility.

5. RETURNS & REFUNDS

Our No-BS Return Policy

Not happy? We get it. Here’s the deal:

  • You have 15 days from delivery to request a return
  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, with tags and original packaging
  • Email [email protected] to start the process
  • Return shipping is on you (unless we messed up)

Refund Timeline

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Refunds process in 3-5 business days
  • Money goes back to your original payment method
  • Original shipping costs aren’t refundable (unless our error)

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Everything on our site – designs, logos, content – belongs to us or our partners. Don’t steal our style or we’ll have to get medieval on you (legally speaking).

7. LIABILITY LIMITATIONS

We stand by our products, but our liability is limited to the purchase price. We’re not responsible for:

  • Delays beyond our control (shipping issues, natural disasters)
  • Minor product variations
  • Improper product care after delivery
  • Any indirect/consequential losses

8. PRIVACY

We respect your privacy like we respect a good leather jacket. Check our separate Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

9. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms occasionally. The current version always applies. We’ll notify you about significant changes.
